Monitoring Solutions has developed a new Extractive Continuous Emissions Monitoring system that features high-resolution monitoring and low maintenance.
The CEMEX 200 accurately and reliably monitors low emission concentrations of NOx, CO, and SO2 (typically single digit ppm values). The CEMEX 200 is also well suited to monitor higher emission levels where dry measurements are required.
A key element of the CEMEX 200 is the extractive probe, designed for use over a wide range of applications and environments, including the monitoring of pollutant gases such as NH3 and HCl. The probe features high accuracy calibration and ease of maintenance.
The Monitoring Solutions extractive probe is just one key component of an entire extractive system designed for high accuracy, reliability, and minimum maintenance.
The total system includes automatic daily calibration checks, automatic and manual purging of the probe, moisture removal via thermoelectric or membrane dryers, and high accuracy analyzers. The entire package is tied together with Monitoring Solutions’ CEMDAS data acquisition and handling system to provide reports that are guaranteed to meet state and federal requirements.
Features:
- High Resolution: In the CEMEX 200, calibration gas passes through all of the filters and sample conditioning equipment. Calibrating the entire sampling system eliminates substantial errors that can develop between reference measurements and the continuous measurement. This is especially important when monitoring pollutant levels below 20 ppm.
- Ease of Service: With the CEMEX 200 extractive probe, all internal components are easily serviced without removing the entire probe assembly from the stack. Removable components include the filters, heater, calibration gas tube and thermocouple.
- Wide Operating Temperatures: The Monitoring Solutions extractive probe can be utilized over a wide range of temperatures (up to 1,000°F without modifications, and higher with modifications). An internal heater keeps the probe from dropping below an adjustable minimum temperature, and insures reliable service.
